Communication Module
Shark Link
Coming Soon
Video and data link for UAV systems
Shark Link carries video, telemetry, and control data between UAVs and ground systems over the same 2.4 GHz link.
Video and data over one link
Shark Link transmits live camera feeds and vehicle data over the same connection, removing the need for separate communication modules.
One link supports telemetry, command and control data, and communication between onboard systems.
- Live camera streams
- Telemetry
- Command and control data
- Onboard system communication
The same module in the air and on the ground
Shark Link can operate on either the aircraft or ground side of the communication link.
Using the same module on both sides reduces integration work and the number of spare parts to manage.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Aircraft side | Airborne link node |
| Ground side | Ground link node |
Bandwidth, latency, and range
Up to 40 Mbps of bandwidth carries video and vehicle data over the same link.
Low latency helps live imagery and vehicle data reach the operator without unnecessary delay.
Direct-link range exceeds 3 km. With mesh networking, range can reach 5 km.
- Link bandwidth
- ≤40 Mbps
- Direct range
- 3+ km
- Mesh-assisted range
- ≤5 km
Actual range depends on installation and operating environment.
Mesh networking and link setup
Mesh networking
Multiple compatible Shark Link modules can join the same mesh network.
With a suitable installation, mesh networking can extend communication range to 5 km.
Automatic pairing
Compatible Shark Link modules pair automatically, reducing the work required to establish a link in the field.
Connections for system integration
Shark Link connects to onboard and ground systems through serial ports and LAN.
The module has three serial ports, two LAN interfaces, and one power input.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Serial ports | 3× |
| LAN | 2× |
| Power | 1× input |
Status LEDs make it easier to check the connection during installation and operation.
Works with Shark UAV systems
Shark Link is designed for use with Shark GCS, SkyLine flight control units, and Shark UAV platforms.
- Shark GCS
- Shark SkyLine FCU Series
- Shark UAV platforms
